MOCA | Knockstudy At Geffen Contemporary

Recently MOCA started their exhibition, Art In The Streets, which profiles Banksy, Revok, Shepard Fairey and a lot of other cool artists. For one night a year, the teens of the MOCA Apprenticeship Program (MAP) organize an event for other teenagers to experience MOCA and contemporary art. Inspired by the exhibition Art in the Streets, Teen Night 2011 features live performances by local bands and DJ’s, a local and international student art exhibition, art-making activities, and refreshments. Knockstudy has been given the opportunity to perform at this year’s Teen Night in front of over 1,000 teenagers expected to be in attendance from all over Southern California, and the following is a preview of what the night holds.
